The system was designed to<\/p>\n<p>passively treat and recover the wastewater. The treated wastewater is<\/p>\n<p>recovered and held in a holding tank to be used to irrigate green<\/p>\n<p>spaces. With no moving parts or filter media to replace or break, the<\/p>\n<p>watertight System O )) was the most cost-effective, long-lasting and<\/p>\n<p>efficient option.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PRIMARY TREATMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The System O)) is preceded by a primary treatment. Raw wastewater<\/p>\n<p>leaving the center is collected in a septic tank with an effective volume<\/p>\n<p>of 18,000 L. Inside the septic tank, the wastewater separates into layers<\/p>\n<p>as the fats float to the top and the solids sink to the bottom of the tank.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DISTRIBUTION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The effluent of the septic tank flows by gravity into a main distribution<\/p>\n<p>box that evenly distributes effluent to four other distribution boxes. Each<\/p>\n<p>of these four distribution boxes distributes wastewater evenly into five<\/p>\n<p>rows of Advanced Enviro))Septic pipes. The proper functioning<\/p>\n<p>of the System O)) depends on a uniform distribution of<\/p>\n<p>wastewater between the Advanced Enviro))Septic pipe rows. This is<\/p>\n<p>achieved with the help of equalizers installed inside the distribution box.<\/p>\n<p>These equalizers have weirs that are manually adjusted by a dial during<\/p>\n<p>the installation. These are the only moveable parts in the entire system.<\/p>\n<p>Once they are set during the installation, they don\u2019t need to be adjusted<\/p>\n<p>again. The treated effluent of the system is recovered and collected in a<\/p>\n<p>holding tank to be reused.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ADVANCED SECONDARY TREATMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This waterlight System O)) uses one cell consisting of 20 rows of<\/p>\n<p>Advanced Enviro))Septic (AES) pipes for a total of 100 pipes. The<\/p>\n<p>wastewater flows along the length of the AES rows where it is<\/p>\n<p>treated by bacteria living in the aes pipes and in the filter sand<\/p>\n<p>during the infiltration process.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RECOVERY OF TREATED WATER<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Underneath the System O)), there is a watertight membrane and a<\/p>\n<p>network of collection pipes. All of the water that is treated by the<\/p>\n<p>System O)) is recuperated by this network and directed towards<\/p>\n<p>a pumping station where it is then pumped into a recovered water<\/p>\n<p>holding tank. The water in this tank can then be used for<\/p>\n<p>irrigation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ECONOMIC ADVANTAGES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Previously, with the conventional system, everything was automated until<\/p>\n<p>the equipment electromechanical equipment begins to fail, and the plant<\/p>\n<p>has ceased to operate with the consequent problem of contamination of<\/p>\n<p>water unsuitable for reuse. What\u2019s more, the System O installation)) does<\/p>\n<p>not require any maintenance and there is no filter media to change or<\/p>\n<p>mechanical part that can break.
